Going to Big Bear 10/28/2013
NOTAM:We'll use Riverside (RAL) as an alternate if any unexpected weather like  high winds and clouds are around L35.

Hi Everyone,

   Great Fly-In to Big Bear (L35) on Sun, Oct 28.

    Nine people in six planes made this one.

   Flying out of SDM was Dennis in an RV3; from SEE Jeff in a 172, from MYF
Neil in an M20, John in a 172, Red & Paul in a 172 and Jim, Mike and Tony in
a 337.,

   The weather was CAVU and the ride was smooth all the way to L35.

   The five minute walk to Thelma's restaurant through the pines in 68 degree
temps was a nice change from San Diego.

  We had seats together in the patio and did the usual hangar flying.

  The weather stayed the same on our flights back to SAN.

  NEXT FLY-IN. Sun, Nov 18 to Apple Valley (APV) and we'll have breakfast at
the new restaurant call Will Willies Smokehouse. http://www.wildwillies.us/

  They're closed on Mondays, but I'll call tomorrow to confirm they really
are there and are open.
